Content Management

Content management combines the massive tasks of updating web design, text and formats through simple, reliable and effective processes. There are a lot of factors involved in providing the right level of content management systems (CMS).

Considerations include; user competence, the level of and regularity of changes, moderating the content and future expandability. Some people just want to edit the text in a nice easy WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) interface, a bit like a standard DTP interface. Others want a bespoke, all singing, all dancing, system that ensures search engine optimisation is retained, new sections and graphics are easily uploaded as well as keeping the content and downloadable documents as searchable, time stamped and automatically archived. Phew! On the other side, some people just pay us a retainer and we do it for them.

Again, these systems can be written just for you, or we can adapt an off the shelf product or combine open source files to give the level of control, for the right price.
