Insitu (as it is now called) came to Navig8 during the very early stages of development. The owner had an idea; to open a contemporary furniture shop, selling beautiful furniture. He didn’t have a name for his business or a shop, but he did have an idea. That was enough for us.
We devised the name Insitu, after all, the business is all about furniture and the name evokes the sense of things being in context, amongst other things. Navig8 then developed a simple, bespoke piece of typography, which developed into their own pattern.
This pattern has been applied to everything in the business from carrier bags to brochure covers. Also, the mark has been applied to stationery and shop signage. The new business has become an established business, and a success.
