Help the aged came to Navig8 for the second round of the age discrimination campaign. Because there were so many factors to age discrimination that people were unaware of, it needed to be information heavy but punchy enough to make an impact while being emotive enough to spur people into action. Not the easiest thing in the world.
We came up with a strong campaign name, Just Equal Treatment, which is all anyone could ask for. We then designed a small box that would hold a pack of educational 'fact' cards and also a leaflet that was a guide to the 'discrimination review’. Each piece included a response mechanism. Help the Aged would then forward each response to the relevant MP.
Help the Aged have received an overwhelming response and excellent feedback from their groups and forums and a large surge in people signing up for campaign updates.
Large and very active charity.
