
The Help the Aged annual report was traditionally done in-house because of budget restrictions. 2007 had proved to be a very important year for help the aged and the annual report was to be the main tool for communicating successes and hopes to high-level stakeholders. Navig8 was commissioned to take the content and create a framework that communicates the charities achievements, goals and financial standing.
Help the Aged have clear and solid brand guidelines. Type sizes must be kept large and the design must be accessible. We stripped back the elements and implemented a simple structure, capitalising on engaging photography, very strong typography and elegant graphics. Although simple, the design was seen as very progressive.
The report certainly had an impact, both internally and externally. The publication reflects the scope of the charities work and a wide range of services all produced within a very tight budget.
